Noel Schartz MD, PhD, is a Board Certified Dermatologist. Born in 1965 in Esch/Alzette, Luxembourg, he graduated with honors in medicine at the Pitié-Salpêtrière University hospital in Paris, France. He then did a fellowship in dermatology at Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris, France and Charité Hospital in Berlin, Germany and conducted a 5-years research on immuntherapy in melanoma at Pasteur Institut et Gustave Roussy Institut.
After 11 years of practicing onco-dermatology at hospital, he opened his own private practice in Paris and joined the Centre Laser International de la Peau, Paris (CLIPP laser center) as a partner. Dr. Schartz is a member of the French and International societies of Dermatology and Laser medicine.
Today, Dr. Schartz divides his time into his private practice, the laser center and teaching esthetic and laser treatments at the Univeristy of Medicine in Paris. His special interests include face rejuvination, silhouette and cellulitis treatments.

Born in 1984, he graduated first from the Michigan State University (B.S. in Computer Science, Minor in Mathematics) then from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with High Honors. He's been a software engineer at General Electric for 8 years, founding his own company in 2003.
